Based on the latest scientific knowledge, our plants produce delicious yogurt and dairy products trusted by people around the world, day after day. We focus on consumer needs and demands, such as the desire for more plant-based products. That's why we launched Activia 100% Plant-Based in 2019, the first plant-based version of one of our yogurt brands.
Our aim is to constantly develop and improve our products. That's why we have set ourselves measurable nutritional targets in our Nutrition Commitments and have committed to optimizing the nutritional profiles of all our products in terms of sugar and fat content by 2020. The nutritional targets also guide the development of all new products.
Danone is also a pioneer in using the Nutri-Score labeling system on product packaging. Nutri-Score is a five-level color scale that provides consumers with an easy-to-understand overview of a product’s nutritional quality. Since the end of 2020, all our dairy and plant-based products carry the Nutri-Score.
